I have this daydream. I think I want to make it come true.

I dream of an enchanted garden full of lavender and ferns and teeny houses made of wood. I dream of fairy lights and mushrooms and benches made just the right height for little children.

I dream of making welsh cakes and herbal tea and elderflower cordial. I dream of building an Elvenrealm where human children can come to play.

Wouldn’t it just be magical?

We move to our forever home in a little under 6 weeks. The garden is completely empty of anything except one hydrangea bush, which is the thing that got me thinking. Hydrangea Hotel: a home away from home for visiting elves.

And Lavender Cottage, where the Dewfeather’s live. With a lavender thatched roof and a cobbled path.

And The Hollow Log, nestled beneath the ferns, with a blue front door and room for Annalisa Lichenwell to make her realm-famous hollyhock tea.

But no, it’s ridiculous, right? It wouldn’t be possible. Right?

But what if…

What if…
